The Tri-Cities Soccer Association is the largest independent youth soccer organization in Northern Illinois.
This all volunteer organization, co-sponsored with the park districts of Batavia, Geneva, St. Charles and South Elgin, serves Fox Valley area families.
The goal of Tri-Cities Soccer Association is to introduce and promote the game of soccer to Fox Valley area youth and for it to be a positive learning experience for participating families.
Established in 1977 as a not-for-profit organization - all fees and income from our Sponsor Partners and programs are invested into improving the soccer experience for over 4,000 Fox Valley area participants.
To maximize the experience for our over 4,000 participants our association is divided into these areas of participation:
1. Recreational Soccer: This largest of our programs involves some 3,600 participants in age groups of Under 6 coed, Under 7 boys and girls, Under 8 boys and girls, Under 9 boys and girls, Under 10 boys and girls, Under 12 boys and girls, Under 14 boys and girls, and our coed group of High School aged participants, we call “Seniors”.
1. Recreational Player Training Academy: This training is offered to our U7, U8, and U9 recreational soccer participants who desire an extra evening of training with our professional staff. The goal of the program is to allow participants to build their fundamental, technical soccer skills and to be in addition to their recreational team practices and games.
2.Travel Soccer: this program runs under separate age, organization and participation rules dictated by: The Illinois Youth Soccer Association, and further, the Illinois Women’s Soccer League and the Northern Illinois Soccer League. This programs serves over 600 of our youth who are looking for a bit more of a challenge in and a commitment to soccer.
2.Tri-Cities Premier: this newest program provides the highest level of competition within the sport of soccer for “club soccer”. Professional Coach Drago Jaha will develop and lead this program for those TCSA participants who have the desire, competitiveness, and dedication to play at this level. TCSA’s goal is to provide every child the opportunity to play soccer at the highest level of their capability. The Premier level is intended to complement our Recreational and Parent Coached Travel programs.
3. Hand In Hand: a program for our youngest participants serves approximately 100 preschool aged participants (under 5 years) and meets weekly to have fun with friends and family within a very structured soccer environment.
The Tri-Cities Soccer Association is proud of our partnership, established several years ago, with the Positive Coaching Alliance (PCA) that will provide tools and training for our volunteer coaches and parents to help understand the reason our youth participate in sports and to maximize our ability as a youth sports organization to fulfill the expectation of our participants.
