Tim Balatsoukas
Tim has coached both US Youth and Greek Youth Soccer for the past 11 years. Tim arrived in the United States in 2004 having played professionally in Greece for 5 years (1998-2003). Tim was a 4-year starter for Judson University which appeared in 4 National Championships.  As a player he earned a number of honors including 2x leading points scorer, named to all-regional and all-area teams, Team Captain and inclusion on the All-Illinois State Team in 2006.  Tim also certified in Coerver Coaching leading programs for over 4 years. 

Tim joined TCSA in the summer of 2010.  He holds a NSCAA National Diploma,Director of Coaching Diploma and a Greek FA License.

Cristiano_Costa Cristiano Costa
Cristiano Costa has over 22 years of soccer experience. In 1991 he started his soccer career in Rio de Janeiro, Brazil playing for the professional team Vasco de Gama. He spent 9 years with this team training and playing as a goalie, before transitioning to ABC and Botafogo PB where he played 2 more years professionally. In 2006, Cristiano moved to the United States, where he played for 2 years at Oklahoma Baptist University before transferring to Judson University to play for 3 more years. In 2009 he played for FC Hansa Lüneburg in Germany, and in 2010- 2011 he played for the PDL soccer league Thunder Bay Chill in Canada

Cristiano has experience coaching youth soccer in Brazil, Canada (Thunder Bay Chill) and in the USA (Chicagoland area).

Mark MacKinnon
Mark has over 20 years of experience as a player, coach and Club Director.  Mark began his coaching career as the head coach for high school soccer teams at Glenbard West (Glen Ellyn) and St. Francis (Wheaton) in the 90s. He went on to lead the Olympic Development Program (ODP) as a head coach for 9 years. He has coached two teams to USYSA Nationals, including 2009 USYS Regional Champion.  He has led teams that were Midwest Regional League Champions, 3x Illinois State Cup Champion, including 2010 and a 3x State Cup Finalist. 

Mark holds a USSF B, C license and a National Youth License.

Danny_web Danny Madrigal
Danny brings a tremendous amount of experience to the club both as a player and coach.  He will be leading the youth ages for TCSA.

Vlatko Minic
Vlatko was an assistant coach for four seasons at UW-Parkside, where he helped guide the program to a 40-7-7 record, as well as two Conference Championships and two NCAA appearances. In high school he earned three First Team All-Conference nominations as a player and took his skills to Madison where he went on to be a part of the building block that saw the University of Wisconsin Badgers win the National Championship in 1995. His professional playing career included stints with the Milwaukee Rampage and the Pittsburgh Stingers.  In 2004, Vlatko Co-Founded the Red Star SC a youth soccer club in Kenosha, WI.  In 2010, the Red Star SC club merged with United FC (WI) combining two winning clubs into one.

In 2009, Coach Vlatko began training and coaching TCSA Premier Soccer teams during the indoor and outdoor seasons.  In 2010, he became the full-time head of the TCSA Premier High School Program drawing over 150 kids to the tryouts in the first year.

David Parker
David is President & CEO of Soccer Success, Inc. which is a Coerver Coaching Licensee in Illinois, Official Camp & Training Company for IYSA, Lil' Kickers franchisee for the Tri-Cities Area and Management Company for SportsPlex of St. Charles.

David has several years of coaching experience including Assistant Women's Coach for Lewis University (2006-2007), with youth soccer clubs: Kicker United, Strikers FV and TCSA. David was also the NSCAA Associate Staff Instructor, Region VII. He joined TCSA in 2011.

Coaching Accomplishments

2009 AC Lemont Raiders, In one year, two out of three teams finished in first place. Two teams made a record goal differential of 62-6 , and the other team 54- 8. Won two tournaments with these two teams in Illinois and Indiana.

2010 AC Schwaben , Won Soccer City tournament with a record goal differential (52-0).

Playing Accomplishments

MVP European Leagues 1990 and MVP United Italian Soccer Club - Chicago 2000

First draft- top pick- FC Red Star Yugoslavia (one of the best clubs in the world at the time ), at the age of 16

Doco_web Doco Wesseh
Coach Doco joined TCSA in 2010 and is currently coaching in the TCSA Academy (U6-U8) and is the head coach for the U-10 premier boys, U-14 boys classic team.

Doco a native of Liberia and began his competitive soccer career in Guinea playing for the Champion club AS Kaloum of Conakry, Guinea. Later, he was later transferred to The Ivory Coast where he played in the top division with RFC Daoukro.  He was named to the Liberian National Team in 1998 and remained a member till 2006.

In 2000, Doco moved to the United States for college where he was awarded an athletic scholarship at Malone University 2000-2001 and won numerous awards (2 times All American, All Region and Conference Teams, Leader in scoring and Regional Player of the year awards). He later transferred to Judson University where he played for two years earning 2 All American awards, CCAC Player of the Year, All Region team, All Conference and led both the conference and region in scoring.  Doco was drafted in the 2004 draft by Virginia Beach Mariners. He went on to play with the Thunder Bay Chill (Canada) and the Montreal Impact briefly where he was named MVP and leader in scoring twice.

As a coach, he coached in the Thunder Bay Chill youth program for 3 years and served as head coach for U-12 boys, U-14 boys and girls. 2010 he served as an assistant coach for one of Liberia’s top club Roots FC.
