PREMIER COACHING STAFF
	Tim Balatsoukas Tim has coached both US Youth and Greek Youth Soccer for the past 11 years. Tim arrived in the United States in 2004 having played professionally in Greece for 5 years (1998-2003). Tim was a 4-year starter for Judson University which appeared in 4 National Championships. As a player he earned a number of honors including 2x leading points scorer, named to all-regional and all-area teams, Team Captain and inclusion on the All-Illinois State Team in 2006. Tim also certified in Coerver Coaching leading programs for over 4 years. Tim joined TCSA in the summer of 2010. He holds a NSCAA National Diploma,Director of Coaching Diploma and a Greek FA License. 	Cristiano Costa Cristiano Costa has over 22 years of soccer experience. In 1991 he started his soccer career in Rio de Janeiro, Brazil playing for the professional team Vasco de Gama. He spent 9 years with this team training and playing as a goalie, before transitioning to ABC and Botafogo PB where he played 2 more years professionally. In 2006, Cristiano moved to the United States, where he played for 2 years at Oklahoma Baptist University before transferring to Judson University to play for 3 more years. In 2009 he played for FC Hansa Lüneburg in Germany, and in 2010- 2011 he played for the PDL soccer league Thunder Bay Chill in Canada Cristiano has experience coaching youth soccer in Brazil, Canada (Thunder Bay Chill) and in the USA (Chicagoland area). 	Mark MacKinnon Mark has over 20 years of experience as a player, coach and Club Director. Mark began his coaching career as the head coach for high school soccer teams at Glenbard West (Glen Ellyn) and St. Francis (Wheaton) in the 80s. He went on to lead the Olympic Development Program (ODP) as a head coach for 9 years. He has coached two teams to USYSA Nationals, including 2009 USYS Regional Champion. He has led teams that were Midwest Regional League Champions, 3x Illinois State Cup Champion, including 2010 and a 3x State Cup Finalist. Mark holds a USSF C license and a National Youth License. 	Danny Madrigal Danny brings a tremendous amount of experience to the club both as a player and coach. He will be leading the youth ages for TCSA. 	Vlatko Minic Vlatko was an assistant coach for four seasons at UW-Parkside, where he helped guide the program to a 40-7-7 record, as well as two Conference Championships and two NCAA appearances. In high school he earned three First Team All-Conference nominations as a player and took his skills to Madison where he went on to be a part of the building block that saw the University of Wisconsin Badgers win the National Championship in 1995. His professional playing career included stints with the Milwaukee Rampage and the Pittsburgh Stingers. In 2004, Vlatko Co-Founded the Red Star SC a youth soccer club in Kenosha, WI. In 2010, the Red Star SC club merged with United FC (WI) combining two winning clubs into one. In 2009, Coach Vlatko began training and coaching TCSA Premier Soccer teams during the indoor and outdoor seasons. 	David Parker David is President & CEO of Soccer Success, Inc. which is a Coerver Coaching Licensee in Illinois, Official Camp & Training Company for IYSA, Lil' Kickers franchisee for the Tri-Cities Area and Management Company for SportsPlex of St. Charles. David has several years of coaching experience including Assistant Women's Coach for Lewis University (2006-2007), with youth soccer clubs: Kicker United, Strikers FV and TCSA. David was also the NSCAA Associate Staff Instructor, Region VII. He joined TCSA in 2011. TRAVEL TRAINING STAFF
	Anne Stephens

	Brian Griffin Brian has 20 years of both playing and coaching experience, having played for the Pegasus Soccer Club, Aurora Central Catholic High School and Lincoln where he was captain of the team. Before signing on with Tri-Cities Soccer, Brian was the Travel Coordinator with the Glen Ellyn Lakers for two year. With Tri-Cities, Brian utilizes his talents both with team training and goalie training.

	Cesar Melgar

	Chris Bates Chris has been training with Tri-Cities since 2004, however, his training expertise has been utilized in other clubs as Downers Grove, Kopion and the Wheaton Wings. Chris was an All-American with Wheaton College in 1996 and played at Wheaton Central High School where he was named to the All-State team in 1992.

	Frank Panek Frank started training with Tri-Cities in 2003 having brought extensive training experience from Team Chicago where he trained with Dave DiTomasso (Elmhurst College) and Mike Matovich (Chicago Magic Soccer Club). Frank was a head coach with the Wheatland Athletic Club as well as a trainer/coach with the Naperville Soccer Association

	Lindsay Cicci Lindsay has been playing soccer for over 18 years, having started her career with the Tri-Cities Recreational Program. She has grown her talent for the sport during her years as captain of the St. Charles East High School team, and later at Elgin Community College and Kishwaukee Community College. Lindsay joined Tri-Cities Soccer as Travel Coordinator in 2008 and became the Director of Travel in 2009, growing the program to include over 58 travel teams today. Lindsay holds a National D License.

	Nick Geiken Nick’s playing experience started with Tri-Cities Traveling, St Charles Soccer Club, Star & Stripes and Team Dolomite F.C. Nick was a part of the St Charles High School team that won the 1995 State Championship. Nick’s coaching experience stared in 2000 with the Crystal Lake Force before he came home to train with Tri-Cities in 2002.

	Nicole Walsh Nicole has played competitive club soccer for over 20 years for various clubs including Chicago Kickers and Calcio Chicago FC, as well as having experience playing in several international tournaments including the USA Cup and the A.A.G. Nicole was named an All Conference player for Elgin Community College for two consecutive years.

	Phil Krahenbuhl Phil started his playing career with the St. Charles Soccer Club, Tri-Cities Soccer Association and, later, with Pegasus F.C. His high school career saw 2 state Championships with St. Charles High School as well as being named part of the Upstate 8 All-Conference team. Phil’s coaching credits include St. Charles East Junior Varsity, Campton United, Strikers FV and Tri-Cities Soccer.

	Sara Beebe Having joined Tri-Cities in 2009 as a trainer for all ages including a substitute for the high school ages, Sara started her training career in 2005 with the Barrington Area Soccer Association (BASA). Before that, Sara saw a great deal of playing success as a 4-year starter and 4-year state champion at St Charles High School. After high school, Sara moved to the University of Wisconsin-Parkside where she was a 4-year starter, her team was league champions for two years, and she was named female athlete of the year. Sara holds a National D License.

	Tessa Roberts Tessa started playing soccer in 1991 with Tri-Cities Soccer. She also played for other local clubs including Sparta Soccer club before becoming a 4-year starter at St. Charles North High School. Tessa moved to Augustana College where she developed an impressive resume including First Team All-Conference, Offensive MVP, NCAA Player of the Week, and First Team All-Region two consecutive years running. Tessa has been with Tri-Cities since 2008 as trainer and Indoor Coordinator. Tessa holds a National D License.

	Brad Jerdee A native of the Tri-Cities area, Brad began his soccer career playing for a number of traveling soccer clubs in the are including TCSA in 1996 and 1997. After a successful high school career at St Charles East, Brad moved on to play for Western Illinois University where he was a starter and team captain. Brad joined TCSA in the fall of 2009 as a team trainer as well as training in the Hand in Hand Program.
