Our expectations

Tri-Cities Soccer Association endorses and supports a safe, fun, and educational experience for all participants. Players, coaches and spectators have the responsibility to conduct themselves in a manner that supports this goal. Tri-Cities Soccer Association has a
“Zero Tolerance” policy with respect to poor sportsmanship for players, coaches, parents, and spectators. By resolution of the Board of Directors of Tri-Cities Soccer Association, each coach, player, and player parents shall agree to adhere to the Code of Conduct here in as a prerequisite to participation in this soccer program. All directors, coaches, and officials are charged with and instructed to carry out the enforcement of this Code of Conduct.

I will always be a good sport.

I will respect coaches, teammates, parents, opponents, and officials.

I will not dispute or argue an official’s decision.

I will not use obscene, abusive, or vulgar language in any manner toward anyone, at any time, before, during, or after the game.

coaches & Parents

I will display good sportsmanship and always respect players, coaches, officials, and other parents.

I will act appropriately at all times and will provide positive encouragement in my comments for all players on both teams.

I will be supportive after the game, win or lose, and I will recognize good effort, teamwork, and sportsmanship.

I will not use obscene, abusive, or vulgar language in any manner toward anyone, at any time, before, during, or after the game.

I will not address the referee or referees at any time, for any reason.

I will show respect to the volunteers of the Association at all times and conduct myself appropriately.

penalty

Any violation of this “Code of Conduct” can result in a red card being issued during the game or a “post game” red card being issued. A red card recipient must immediately leave the game field complex. The Tri-Cities Soccer Association Conduct Review Committee will review all red card violations. A red card requires a minimum of a one game suspension and can result in a mandatory meeting with the committee and up to a permanent suspension from Tri-Cities Soccer participation of the parent(s), player(s), or both.
